HD video installation, 6 min loop, no sound, card-board box, screen
The video work follows a breast-feeding woman trying repeatedly to breast-feed herself – to consume and to be consumed, to close an impossible circle of self-sufficiency.
The solitary act repeated by the woman in the video was screened inside a card-board box in a large, busy, and well lit space. Only one person could watch the video at a time, by inserting his / her head into the box. At the same time, outside the box, a living sculpture was created, turning the spectator into an actor.
